Implement
precision maintenance from both a mechanical & electrical prospective
in your facility. Lower maintenance costs and maximize machine reliability
using field proven methods and procedures. Extend machinery life and
prevent most machine failures from occurring. Case histories are used to
teach Root Cause Analysis Techniques, also, frequent misinterpretation and
misapplication of industry standards are explored as major causes of
machinery problems.

averaging, high and low frequency analysis; advanced analysis techniques

Precision Maintenance for Tradesmen
3 day: in-house (only)
Common-sense
on-site oil analysis; bearing installation and maintenance do’s and
don’ts; bearing analysis; problem identification using vibration &
phase; understanding and applying the various vibration, balance and
alignment standards.

Precision Alignment
3 day:
in-house (only)
This
course includes aligning one or more of the client’s machines, as time
permits. Also includes: dial indicator and laser measurements; graphical
and calculator methods of determining alignment; calculating and
compensating for thermal growth; diagnosing and correcting pipe strain;
diagnosing and correcting different types of soft foot and a complete
“walk-through” of a pre-alignment check list.

Precision Balancing
3 day: in-house (only)
This
course separates unbalance from other problems which show up at 1 x
running speed; a walk through of vectoral solutions for single plane
balancing; plus calculator and data-collector balancing for single- and
two-plane solutions, and how to accurately and consistently balance
overhung rotors. If time permits one or more of the client’s machines
can be balanced.

Motor Diagnostic Workshop
3 day: public or in-house
Improving
Motor System Reliability “any type, any size”. Using unique, purely
“Non Destructive” testing methods and procedures.
Includes commissioning new or repaired electric motors; diagnose
winding faults quickly and accurately; identify rotor health, incoming
power quality and drive wellbeing; plus, driven load mechanical health.
Trending condition over time and distinguish what is NOT faulty.
